I'm Alan Partridge: Series 1
Synopsis
Since his chat show "Knowing Me, Knowing You" came to a catastrophic end, Alan Partridge has been rebuilding his career as an early morning DJ on Radio Norwich. With his loyal PA Lynn by his side, Alan prepares for his return to celebrity status.
Episode 1 – A Room with an Alan
Steve Coogan plays Norwich's finest. Armed with programme ideas and a clump of cheese, Alan meets a BBC commissioner.
Episode 2 – Alan Attraction
The socially inept Alan Partridge has been staying at the Linton Travel Tavern for ten weeks, has failed to get a second series and is days away from bankruptcy. Meanwhile, he has fallen in love.
Episode 3 – Watership Alan
Alan pays the price when he insults Norfolk's farmers on his radio show, and gets into even more difficulty when he accepts the job of fronting a boating holiday promotional video.
Episode 4 – Basic Alan
Since Alan is the only guest at the Linton Travel Tavern, the manager decides to close it for refurbishment, leaving Alan at a loose end.
Episode 5 – To Kill a Mocking Alan
Alan puts on a Sunday afternoon version of his show at the hotel and invites some Irish TV executives over to watch it.
Episode 6 – Towering Alan
Dramatic developments at the BBC give Alan a whiff of hope, and so he prepares to do some intensive networking - at a funeral.
